Servant Leadership (missions)
It is the mission of the Legacy Service Organization or LSO to be the “Hands and Feet” of Christ in our community knowing that we can do nothing without the Spirit of Christ in us. We desire to touch as many lives as we can using the gifts and talents that God has given each one of us and strive to make a difference for Christ. Our main working partnership is through Buckner International. Through Buckner we are working with an community out-reach program in Oakcliff and with “Shoes for Orphan Souls.” We know that we can continually do more and we pray that God will lead us to the needs He wants us to fill and we pray that we see Christ daily as we reach out to those who are closest to us. Matthew 25:40 “And the King will answer and say to them, Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these my brethren, you did it to me.”
