School Identity

Academy Seal

The Legacy Christian Academy logo consists of two graphic components: a primary wordmark, Legacy Christian Academy and a secondary symbol, the LCA crest. The preferred Academy Seal configuration of the identity features the wordmark centered above the symbol.

The Academy Name

The complete signature of the school is Legacy Christian Academy.

The Academy Colors

Green (Jeremiah 17:8)

“But blessed is the many who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him. He will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.”

In commentary, “He who puts confidence in man, shall be like the heath in a desert, a naked tree, a sorry shrub, the product of barren ground, useless and worthless. Those who trust to their own righteousness and strength, and think they can do without Christ, make flesh their arm, and their souls cannot prosper in graces or comforts. Those who make God their Hope, shall flourish like a tree always green, whose leaf does not wither. They shall be fixed in peace and satisfaction of mind; they shall not be anxious in a year of drought. Those who make God their Hope, have enough in him to make up the want of all creature-comforts. They shall not cease from yielding fruit in holiness and good works.”

Gold (Revelation 14:14)

“I looked, and there before me was a white cloud, and seated on the cloud was one "like a son of man" with a crown of gold on his head and a sharp sickle in his hand.”

Upon the cloud one sat like the Son of Man. Jesus has himself said that the Son of man shall be seen coming upon the clouds of heaven (Mt 24:30). John here sees the Son of Man sitting upon a white cloud. The Savior said that his coming shall be with great power and glory (Mt 24:30). John now sees upon the head of the Son of man a golden crown. The Savior said that he will send his angels to gather the elect (Mt 24:31). John hears an angel bid him who sat upon the cloud, to reap the earth, for its harvest was ripe.

The Cross

In the center of the crest is a white cross. The cross represents our desire as a school that Christ remains the center of everything we do.

Four Squares

The four squares represent the four elements of the balanced education stated in our mission statement; which also reflects Luke 2:52: academic, athletic, artistic and spiritual.
