LCA Wins Awards in Frisco Community Parade
Legacy participated and won two awards in the City of Frisco's annual Community Parade on Saturday, November 7. Several LCA groups participated, including the Early Education program, fall sports teams, Homecoming King and Queen, and Screamin' Eagle Marching Band. The students rode on the pomping floats the 9-12th graders created for Homecoming. Legacy won the Endzone Excellence Award, and the Early Education group won the Superintendent's Award.
We are always excited to support Frisco and represent Legacy well to our local community. That we can do both and honor America's veterans is even better!
Legacy Headmaster, Chris Harmon.
We would like to offer our sincere gratitude to LCA mom of two, Robin Fogle, for coordinating and executing LCA's participation, as well as the students, teachers, and parents who either participated in or attended the parade.
According to the City of Frisco's website, the parade, which was originally a homecoming parade when Frisco was home to one high school, features floats, school marching bands, high school football teams, cheerleaders, scouts, civic organizations, youth sports teams, Frisco-based professional sports teams, and local businesses.
