We are excited to announce that Tim Fisher has been added to the faculty of the Upper School Math Department for the 2016-2017 year. He will be teaching 9th-11th grade Math.

Mr. Fisher has his Undergrad in Mathematics at the University of Texas, and his Graduate Degree in Mathematics also from the University of Texas. Tim has taught math in both private and public schools for more than 15 years. For 11 years, he taught and coached cross country and track at Carrollton Christian. He has also worked as a software design engineer for Texas Instruments and a systems engineer for IMB.

He and his wife Carla have 3 adult children, 2 who live in Houston and 1 who lives in Carrollton. They are a part of Bent Tree Bible Fellowship. His work history starts off with him being a math teacher and golf coach at Johnston High School in Austin. He also was a software design engineer at Texas Instruments and a systems engineer and marketing representative at IMB. He also worked in real estate for a while, and he rehabbed old houses and resold them.

We are very lucky to have Tim Fisher join our Legacy Family for this 2016-2017 school year. Mr. Fisher has said the three things he's excited for this year are, “working with teenagers, helping others accomplish their goals, and passing along trivia to students.”
