As another homecoming week has come and gone, take a minute to look back with us at the festivities and memories that took place!

On Monday, the student body and the faculty and staff kicked off the fun week in their best 90's outfits. The fun continued as everyone went “Dancing Through the Decades” for 80's day, 70's day, and 50's day. On the final dress-up day, we witnessed the Texas tradition of mums and garters being exchanged and worn. The mums get bigger and bigger in each increasing grade level, making senior mums the largest, sometimes completely covering the girl wearing it. The Upper School had many exciting activities during Homecoming Week like Advisory Night, where each advisory chose an activity to bond over and enjoy together. Another Legacy Homecoming tradition that students continued was pomping the parade floats. This year's pomp boards were extremely creative and embodied the spirit of Legacy. The Senior's board came out on top this year, with some bonus points for their 3D design.

Friday was a big day for the entire campus and Legacy community. With the parade and pep rally starting in the morning, the events continued into the night as the Legacy Family banned together to support our Varsity football team. Our student body, Legacy families, and alumni enjoyed cheering on the team and seeing old friends. The coronation took place before kickoff, where Brock Battaglia & McKenzie Cady were named Homecoming King & Queen. The rest of the court consisted of freshman, Olivia Taylor & Sam Yasilli, sophomores, Tatum Ewing & Grant Martin, juniors, Morgan McGlasson & Jack Johnson, and other senior nominees, Claire Gregory, Hannah Johnson, Alex Robison, Evan Alaimo, Blake Billmyre, Turner Olfers.

The crazy week culminated in the Upper School Homecoming Dance. Everyone dressed up, took pictures with their dates and friends, and enjoyed the special night out on the dance floor.

From dressing for another decade, to dressing to impress, this part week was full of continuing tradition and creating new memories. Thanks for being a part of this week with us! Click here to upload your own photos to the Legacy Photo Gallery.
