In a battle of district undefeateds, the Eagles came up short against Dallas Christian, losing the first of a three-game series 4-1. However, the Eagles rallied to twice beat Dallas Christian on the road to claim the District Championship! The season came to a close with a tough 4-6 loss to Brook Hill during Regionals. Behind a third-inning Colin Reiter double, the Eagles plated three runs, but their rally ultimately fell short.
Connor McCollum, Turner Olfers, and Collin Reiter have left their Legacy. They will be missed but not forgotten.
We hate to lose and end our season so soon, but we had an excellent year that included a come from behind district championship. We will learn and return to the playoffs next year.”
