Legacy Christian Academy's Upper School looks forward to adding Mr. Lynn Dupree to the team as the Assistant Principal. Lynn earned his B.S. in Education from East Central University and his M.Ed from Houston Baptist University. Lynn has a long resume, having been an educator for thirty-four years and serving in administration for twenty-nine. He has worked at numerous Christian schools including Second Baptist and Fort Bent Christian in the Houston area as well as Prestonwood and Faith Christian in DFW.
“I am passionate about helping students discover and achieve God's plan for their life,” shares Lynn. “I also love assisting parents as they walk through their son and daughter's Upper School years.” Lynn also looks forward to supporting the Upper School staff in their passion for teaching this year.
Lynn has been married to wife and fellow educator, Terri, for 29 years. They have two children, a son, Sky, and a daughter, Sunni. Sky will be be a junior at North Greenville University in Tigerville, SC where he is double majoring in Business and Sport Management. He also plays lacrosse for the school. Sunni will be a sophomore at Georgia Southern University in Stateboro, GA. Sunni is pursuing a major in communications and teaches volleyball at a local high school. Fun fact – Sky was blessed by President George W. Bush prior to being born!
