Legacy Christian Academy is celebrating 25 years of God’s incredible faithfulness! From where we began to the thriving community we are today, we’ve seen His hand at work in every moment. Watch how God has provided, protected, and guided us through each chapter, making it possible for Legacy to be a place where faith, learning, and community flourish. As we look back on these 25 amazing years, we are excited for what He has in store for the next 25!

25 Years of Legacy

LCA's BeginningsFall 1998
Three families from Frisco Bible Church, driven by faith, meet to discuss and pray about establishing a Christian School in the Frisco area.
LCA's BeginningsFall 1998
Their prayers and faith lay the foundation for a school, ensuring a legacy for their children's education.
LCA Begins Enrolling Students1999-2000
LCA begins enrolling students in an upstairs room of the historic First Baptist Church of Frisco.
The First Class1999-2000
School starts with approximately 120 students, K-9th grade, at Frisco Bible Church.
Land Purchased for LCA2001-2002
Land purchased for LCA’s first campus located at 5000 Academy Dr. (current South Campus)
Construction Completed2002-2003
Main construction completed at the new primary campus, accommodating 600 students.
Sports Complex Added2003-2004
Construction of the Allison Family Sports Complex, including a football field, baseball field, and track.
The Campus Grows2006-2007
The South Campus South and West Wings completed along with the Phyllis Ray Chapel.
Construction of the Gymnasium2008-2009
Construction of the North Campus gymnasium as phase one of the new Upper School.
North Campus Phase One Completed2012-2013
Completed Phase One of the North Campus for the Upper School.
"Complete the Legacy" Campaign2016-2017
Completed the “Complete the Legacy” Campaign and dedicated the Upper School Campus.
Professional Schools Program2018-2019
Launched the Professional Schools Program.
Early Learning Campus2021-2022
Acquired and opened LCA’s Early Learning Campus, providing a dedicated space for preschool-kindergarten students and allowing enrollment expansion of 200+ students.
South Campus Remodeled2023-2024
Completed a first floor remodel of the South Campus.
25 Years of Legacy2024-2025
25th anniversary of the founding of LCA.
