June 12-20, Current Grades 8-11, $1700
Sky Ranch's Ute Trail in Colorado
We are excited to partner with SkyRanch to offer a 5-night wilderness camping experience in the beautiful mountains of Colorado!
“More than just a trip, this is a fantastic opportunity for our students to experience Colorado in a way that few people ever will: unplugged from the world & plugged into God's creation,” shared that Adam Housley, Associate Head for Advancement & Trip Chaperone.
Whether standing on the summit of a mountain or spending time with God by a pristine alpine lake, this wilderness trip will offer many one-of-a-kind moments for you to grow closer to God.
Fellow chaperone, Megan Allen, Upper School math instructor, added, “Some of the times I have felt closest to God have been in the beauty and stillness of nature, away from technology and the craziness of everyday life. A chance to take a moment to truly appreciate the beautiful kingdom God created in Colorado is a one of a kind opportunity that I think the students will never forget!”
Initially, space is limited to 12 students, who will be accompanied by 2 chaperones and 2 Sky Ranch guides. “The US Forest service caps groups sizes, but keeping our group small will increase the intimacy and impact of the experience,” said Housley. Students will travel by charter bus to Ute Trail, Colorado and spend a day at base camp before hiking into the wilderness for a physical and spiritual journey.
