This week we visited with Jacob Crawford, Upper School Student Artist of the Month and Drum Major for the Screamin' Eagle Marching Band. Jacob discusses the role of drum major, sharing that, “The role of a drum major is to lead by example and bring the pride of the school out through the marching band.” Jacob also discusses the theme of this year's Marching Band show.

Mr. Murphy joined the interview and shared his insight on the state of the Legacy Band program, as well as his approach to challenging the four-time defending state marching band champions–an approach that includes never winning state and instead always focusing on excellence.
