Freshman, Maxwell Napier, will compete for Legacy in TAPPS state swim meet this Friday in two events: the 500-meter freestyle and the 100-meter butterfly. Maxwell qualified at the TAPPS Regional Swim Meet held two weeks ago at the Mansfield ISD Natatorium.

I see Maxwell as not only a good swimmer but a young man with a heart for God. He selected a t-shirt at the regional swim meet with the scripture “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Maxwell always has a pleasant attitude and kind disposition. He is a positive influence on all of us.

Maxwell, who recently moved to Frisco from Kentucky, has been swimming competitively for 10 years and is interested in pursuing collegiate swimming in the future. When asked what he enjoys about the LCA swim team, Max replied, “I love how small the team is. I will always remember competing at regionals and watching our entire team have fun and succeed.”
