Our yearbook staff's great work with the 2015-2016 Yearbook has now been recognized through the Jostens 2016 Yearbook of Excellence Award. Out of 18,000 schools nationally, 550 received this award from Jostens, including 12 out of 400 DFW metroplex schools. Legacy was the only DFW private school to receive this honor. That means our yearbook was in the top 3% in the nation as well as Texas!

Ron Evans, a rep from Jostens told us:

“You have great kids that work hard and meet all their deadlines. While doing so, they worked exceptionally hard to connect the book to your entire school by getting kids in the book. Your school is not small, and you have a spread out campus. This is the amazing thing…getting kids in the book… even the little kids. This a big part of why you won and what I appreciate about your yearbook. This is so hard to do and takes a conscientious work ethic to make it happen.”

Mackenzie from the yearbook staff told us, “I feel so blessed to be able to have been a part of such an amazing yearbook program last year! We truly were blessed with the best editors, staff, and advisor! I look forward to what all the staff will accomplish this year and to be able to pass the baton on to the next generation of yearbook students.”

We are very blessed to receive this award and have such an amazing yearbook committee. Thank you all for working so hard and representing our school wonderfully.
