Recently, the Domestic Outreach Specialist for the New York Film Academy visited Ms. Solomon's high school drama class! The students had a great time learning from Cody what a career in acting can look like and what opportunities there are for kids interested in film. He helped prepare the students for future auditions and possible career paths, while encouraging them to pursue their performing arts dreams.
About the visit, Cody said that the students “were extremely respectful and had great questions… I am so happy that Legacy Christian is allowing their student body to begin their journey early.”
Ms. Solomon was so excited to surprise her students with this speaker and “[see] the students' eyes light up while hearing about exciting opportunities to study film, theatre, and photography.” Her students were very grateful that she asked Cody to talk to them and help them make their dreams more accessible. Mattie Bingham said that she “had already planned to pursue a career in musical theatre, but today really made it seem more real than ever before.”
