With the 2017-2018 school year fast approaching, Legacy Christian Academy is excited to welcome several new additions and announce some new roles within our administrative support team. Ana Garcia has been promoted from Middle School Administrative Assistant to Purchasing Manager. “We are excited for Ana to join our team. She will help us ensure that we are good stewards and that we maintain great relationship with our vendors,” shared Raney Payne, Chief Financial Officer.

 

Jamie Smith will serve as the Middle School administrative assistant. She has two daughters, Lindsey 27 and Emily 24, who she says keep her life fun and festive. Each of them are the proud owners of Vizsla dogs, which they adore! Mr. Dibley is most excited about Jamie's servant-heart and 17 years of Christian school experience, stating, “Jamie brings a wealth of experience to LCA's Middle School. She has a demonstrated track record of working in Christian schools. She understands why we do what we do. With a huge heart for service and a desire to make a difference, Jamie will be a huge blessing to the parents, students and teachers of LCA's Middle School. We are very excited about her being here!”

Crissy Young will transition from the high school front office to the Chief Academic Office, where she will provide administrative support. Crissy states, “I'm beyond thrilled for the opportunity to join the Student Services Team. It's exciting to see the growth here at LCA and the people that God is putting in place to help our students succeed. I look forward to a great school year and to witness all the wonderful things God has in store.” Mrs. Young joined Legacy last year having previously provided similar support at Stonebriar Community Church and Prestonwood Baptist Church North. She and her husband Dell of 23 years have three children, of whom their youngest, Cody, attends Legacy.

Jacqui Sopp will anchor the front desk at the Upper School. Following a successful aviation management career in England and the US, she stepped away to stay home. Most recently, Mrs. Sopp most recently served as the receptionist at Wakeland High School in Frisco ISD. The Sopps joined the Legacy community last year, when they enrolled their daughter Lottie, who will be a freshman this year. Toby, also a freshmen, will join his sister at Legacy this year, and Emily will be a freshman at Arkansas. “Jacqui brings strong interpersonal skills as well as significant experience as the first smile on a high school campus. We are excited to have her on the Upper School campus.”

Robin Fogle will take over front desk duties on the south campus, as Mrs. Cantwell pursues a full-time graduate degree this fall at SMU. As Advancement Office Assistant, Mrs. Fogle will serve as director of first impressions while providing administrative support to our admissions team. Most recently, Mrs. Fogle served as a preschool teacher. The Fogle's relocated from Austin in 2014 to join the Legacy community. Their son Major will be a senior and daughter Emma will be a junior.
