Legacy junior, Shannon Hunt, traveled to Nashville, TN to compete in the 43rd Annual Grand Master Fiddle Championship at the Country Music Hall of Fame this past weekend. The GMFC is a true national contest and draws competitors from across the United States. Shannon performed in the Traditional Division of the contest which features music brought to North America by immigrants from England, France, Germany, Ireland and Scotland among other nations. Shannon played well, competing against other high school, college, and professional musicians, finishing 3rd after two rounds of competition.
