Each month, we will highlight four outstanding Upper School Students at Legacy who are impacting not only our school but also the world. Each month watch for “Leaving a Legacy” e-mails to hear about students who are living Legacy's mission as academics, servants, athletes, and artists.

Our Student Spotlight features senior McKenzie Gardner, who was nominated for her servant leadership. Listen to McKenzie's Live@Legacy interview and read excerpts below.

Goals: McKenzie hopes to get Project Excess more involved in LSO. She is also excited to work with SALT and assist in building school unity between school divisions. She would like to be a Guidance Counselor.
Years at Legacy: 13 years. Her favorite thing about Legacy is the Bible classes. She loved Church History & Apologetics. She learned who she is and why she follows Christ. Mr. Littleton has been a huge influence in her life.
Walk with Christ: Christ has helped her to realize she is capable of doing things she would not have thought possible. Christ has given her a passion to share God's love with those in society who have been forgotten.
Passionate about: Honoring and respecting others. McKenzie loves others as God sees them and not as the world sees them. All people are precious to Jesus. She also loves to collect vinyl records.
How does she hope to be remembered? McKenzie wants younger students to listen to what God says and follow the Holy Spirit. She wants to be remembered as trustworthy.
