Healthcare

To keep you and your family healthy, LCA ensures a variety of plans are available including health, dental, and vision. Several plans are 100% covered for the employee with 25% employer contribution to dependent's medical premiums.

Tuition Remission

We value family and encourage employees to bring their children to LCA. Staff receives a tiered tuition reduction for all dependents. 75% reduction for the oldest child enrolled; 50% reduction for the next oldest child concurrently enrolled; and; 25% reduction for all other children concurrently enrolled. Staff is also eligible to apply for additional support through our Indexed Tuition program.

Position Summary: To fulfill the mission of Legacy Christian Academy through the Legacy Learning Center, diagnostic evaluation, and admissions testing within a Biblical Worldview. Work with the Senior Director of Student Services, current diagnostician as well as admissions.

Position Summary: The Educational Technology Specialist fulfills the mission of Legacy Christian Academy by supporting the implementation of educational technology tools, instructional practices, and professional learning PK–12. Working in partnership with the Director of Educational Technology & Innovation, the IT department, and the Curriculum & Instruction team, this role provides day-to-day instructional support and contributes to the school’s coordinated technology support system to ensure that educational technology tools and platforms are implemented effectively, wisely, and in alignment with curricular goals.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; background in education, instructional technology, or related field preferred
  • Experience in PK–12 educational settings strongly preferred
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
  • Classroom teaching experience
  • Experience supporting adult learners in professional development settings
  • Experience working within a 1:1 device environment
  • Exposure to emerging technologies, including AI tools in educational settings
  • Experience collaborating with IT within a structured support system

Position Summary: Legacy Christian Academy is seeking a Christ-centered, energetic, and dedicated Physical Education Assistant to serve students in both the Lower School (1-4) and Middle School (5–6). The ideal candidate will assist the physical education coach in teaching through a biblical worldview, encouraging students to develop healthy bodies, strong character, and a love for movement in a way that honors God. This is a part time position (5 days a week, 5 hours a day 10:45AM-3:30PM) that will grow into a full-time position in the next year. 

Education/Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Health, or a related field preferred.

Valid teaching certification preferred (state or ACSI).

Prior experience teaching PE at the elementary or middle school level preferred.

Strong knowledge of child development and age-appropriate physical fitness programs.

Excellent classroom management, communication, and organizational skills.

Ability to coach or assist in athletic programs is a plus

Position Summary: We seek a highly skilled, dynamic, and versatile Middle School Math Teacher passionate about integrating Biblical principles into their curriculum and instructional practices. This individual will be able to teach Pre-Algebra and Algebra I skills and competencies. As a key member of our math department, the ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mathematics and demonstrate the ability to engage students at high levels.

The successful candidate will bring academic expertise and a heartfelt commitment to integrating a Biblical worldview in all aspects of teaching. We believe that math is not separate from faith but rather away to understand and appreciate the order and design of God's work. Incorporating Biblical truths with mathematical inquiry will be essential in fostering an environment where students develop a strong understanding of mathematical concepts and grow in their faith and character.

Education/Experience:

Hold a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Mathematics, Education, or related field. Illustrate a proven track record of success as a math teacher, with a minimum of 3+ years of teaching experience

Position Summary: We seek a highly skilled, dynamic, and versatile History Teacher passionate about integrating Biblical principles into their curriculum and instructional practices. As a key member of our history department, the ideal candidate will possess a strong background in history and demonstrate the ability to engage students at high levels.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate both academic excellence and a sincere commitment to integrate a biblical worldview into every aspect of instruction. At our core, we believe that history is not a series of random events, but rather the unfolding of God’s sovereign plan. This perspective invites students to recognize evidence of God’s providence throughout the course of American history - in both its moments of triumph and its times of trial.

Education/Experience:

Hold a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in History, Education, or related field

Valid Texas teacher certification, preferred

Position Summary: Middle School Spanish (7th-8th Grade)

Primary emphasis: Spanish I, Intermediate Spanish, and Advanced Spanish 

The Middle School Spanish Teacher will provide instruction in the Spanish language, both spoken and written, while exposing students to the richness of Spanish-speaking cultures. The teacher will utilize a conversational, immersive approach that prioritizes student engagement and practical language use, while intentionally integrating a biblical worldview. Emphasis will be placed on developing students’ conversational proficiency through interactive and immersive learning opportunities.

In addition, the teacher will provide intermediate and advanced Spanish instruction for students in the Spanish Immersion program, following Addalingua guidelines and best practices. This includes delivering instruction primarily in Spanish, supporting continued language acquisition across listening, speaking, reading, and writing, and reinforcing academic vocabulary and grammatical structures appropriate to students’ developmental and immersion levels. The teacher will intentionally maintain a target-language environment, provide differentiated support as needed, and advance students toward greater fluency, comprehension, and confidence in Spanish.

This role requires fluency in both Spanish and English in order to effectively meet the diverse language needs of students.

Education/Experience:

Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree; Spanish degree is preferred

Minimum of three years’ experience teaching Spanish at the high school level preferred

Distinguishers include Texas Teaching Certification and/or Master’s degree in Spanish

Position Summary: The Systems Administrator provides day-to-day technical support to faculty, staff, and students while administering and maintaining Legacy Christian Academy’s core systems, user accounts, access controls, and device management environment. This role is responsible for troubleshooting hardware and software issues, maintaining system configurations and updates, managing school-issued devices, and ensuring that campus technology operates reliably and consistently. The Systems Administrator supports the Director of IT by helping sustain a secure, organized, and well-functioning technology environment across the school.

Education/Experience:

Minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience in systems administration, device management, or a similar technical support role; three (3) or more years preferred.

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred

Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered

Experience administering a mobile device management platform (e.g., JAMF or equivalent)

Experience with Google Workspace administration and user management

Exposure to network configuration and wireless infrastructure troubleshooting

Working knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and endpoint protection principles

Experience supporting technology in a PK–12 educational environment

Position Summary: We are in search of a highly skilled, dynamic, versatile, and passionate Upper School English Teacher with the capability to instruct college prep, honors, and ideally dual-credit courses. As a pivotal member of our academic team, the ideal candidate will bring a strong background in English literature and writing, along with the flexibility to adapt instructional approaches to cater to the diverse needs of students across various levels from 9-12th grades.

Education/Experience:

Hold a Bachelor's degree in English or a closely related field; candidates with a Master's degree in English-related fields and Texas teaching certification are preferred.

Illustrate a proven track record of success as a high school English teacher, with a minimum of 3+ years of teaching experience and emphasizing notable achievements in student outcomes.
