Healthcare

To keep you and your family healthy, LCA ensures a variety of plans are available including health, dental, and vision. Several plans are 100% covered for the employee with 25% employer contribution to dependent's medical premiums.

Tuition Remission

We value family and encourage employees to bring their children to LCA. Staff receives a tiered tuition reduction for all dependents. 75% reduction for the oldest child enrolled; 50% reduction for the next oldest child concurrently enrolled; and; 25% reduction for all other children concurrently enrolled. Staff is also eligible to apply for additional support through our Indexed Tuition program.

Competitive Salary

Our salaries are benchmarked against area public-school pay scales which are some of the highest in the state. We are competitive with the schools around us and provide an attractive Christian community in which to work and live.

Retirement

LCA helps employees plan for the future by providing retirement plans. LCA has up to a 3% matching plan in addition to direct retirement contributions by the school. All funds are 100% vested at the time of deposit.

Position Summary: The IT Support Specialist provides direct, hands-on technical support to faculty, staff, and students to ensure the daily operation of classroom and office technology. This role is responsible for troubleshooting hardware and software issues, assisting with device setup and maintenance, supporting classroom equipment, and responding to technology service requests in a timely and professional manner. The IT Support Specialist helps maintain a reliable and organized technology environment across campus.

Education/Experience:

  • One (1) or more years of relevant technical support experience preferred
  • High school diploma required; associate or technical certification preferred
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
  • Experience providing technical support in an educational environment
  • Familiarity with device management platforms, preferably Jamf School or Jamf Pro
  • Experience supporting classroom technology

Position Summary:  We are in search of a highly skilled, dynamic, versatile, and passionate Upper School English Teacher with the capability to instruct college prep, honors, and ideally dual-credit courses. As a pivotal member of our academic team, the ideal candidate will bring a strong background in English literature and writing, along with the flexibility to adapt instructional approaches to cater to the diverse needs of students across various levels from 9-12th grades. We seek a candidate that will fulfill the mission of Legacy Christian Academy by inspiring the next generation of leaders through the authentic integration of Christian faith and learning.

Education/Experience:

  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in English or a closely related field; candidates with a Master's degree in English-related fields and Texas teaching certification are preferred.
  • Illustrate a proven track record of success as a high school English teacher, with a minimum of 3+ years of teaching experience and emphasizing notable achievements in student outcomes.
