Legacy Christian Academy’s Upper School consists of four Professional Schools: Arts & Humanities, Business, Medicine, and Engineering & Technology. Beyond the foundational 22 credits in Liberal Arts, each professional school has unique course options for an additional 5 required graduation credits. Legacy’s Professional Schools Program (PSP) offers students a high-impact, purpose-driven pathway that begins freshman year setting it apart from traditional high school models. From the start, students explore their God-given strengths through career discovery assessments and foundational courses like Principles of Applied Engineering and Introduction to Communications. But PSP goes far beyond the classroom. Through immersive, hands-on learning, industry-recognized certifications, and experiential electives like Mock Trial, Business Concepts, and Introduction to Health Medicine, students gain a practical head start in fields they’re passionate about. Regular symposiums and exclusive interactions with top-tier professionals allow students to learn directly from leaders making a Kingdom impact in their industries—bringing clarity, confidence, and calling to their high school experience.

SENIOR CAPSTONE COURSE
Seniors in the Capstone course choose between two dynamic options: a professional Internship or an Independent Research project.
Internships place students directly in real-world work environments, offering invaluable hands-on experience and mentorship aligned with their future field of study.
Independent Research empowers students to pursue bold, self directed projects, such as producing and recording an original music EP or launching a campus wide environmental initiative. These experiences showcase their creativity, initiative, and purpose driven impact.
INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
Student interns work alongside professionals in their chosen fields, gaining meaningful insight into the skills, expectations, and pathways required for success. These real world experiences help students make more informed, confident decisions about their academic direction and future careers.
INDEPENDENT STUDY
