Little Women Legacy Spring Musical 2019

The production’s 24 member cast and 16 member crew put on an amazing performance that was memorable all involved. On Wednesday night, they put on a special performance for the students at Cornerstone.
“I may be small but I’ve got giant plans to shine as brightly as the sun.”
“Christmas will exceed our finest dreams.” Sophie Dryden, Riley Thornton, Caroline Kellum and Avery Ellis played the four March Sisters.
Amy and Laurie sing of their engagement in the song “The Most Amazing Thing.”
“We’ll be five for all forever from now on!”
The stories Jo told came to life on stage right before the audience’s eyes.
“Some things will never die: Your memories when I am far from you.” A heartfelt song between sisters had many in the audience tearing up.
“We could circle the world doing all we’ve ever dreamed of, if you’ll take a chance on me!” Junior Josiah Gill sings in the show.
“With you I am more than I am.”
Marmee (played by Sofia Cross) dances and sing as she prepares her two oldest daughters to attend their first ball.
“Yet somewhere deep within my heart I do believe you could captivate the world. If you could change there is so much you could achieve.”

This timeless, captivating story, and powerful score is brought to life in this glorious musical filled with personal discovery, heartache, hope, everlasting love, and the sounds of a young America finding its voice. Based on Louisa May Alcott's life, Little Women follows the adventures of sisters, Jo, Meg, Beth, and Amy March. Jo is trying to sell her stories for publication, but the publishers are not interested. Her friend, Professor Bhaer, tells her that she has to do better and write more from herself. Begrudgingly taking this advice, Jo weaves the story of herself and her sisters and their experience growing up in Civil War America. Little Women embodies the complete theatrical experience, guaranteeing a night filled with laughter, tears and a lifting of the spirit.
