Legacy Christian Academy is delighted to welcome Danielle Record as its Middle School Principal for the 2023-2024 school year. Mrs. Record has an impressive 20 years of experience: Since 2015, she has been Principal of Pink Elementary School, in Frisco, and before that she served as both an assistant principal and principal in Frisco ISD and McKinney ISD, as well as in Georgia and Arizona. In addition to education administration, Mrs. Record has served as an instructional coach and classroom teacher.

Mrs. Record earned her bachelor’s degree in early childhood education from Texas Woman's University and her master’s in educational leadership from the University of Phoenix.

“Danielle Record left a steady, calm, kind, and trustworthy first impression,” says eighth-grade science teacher Cheryl Guthmann. “I’m most excited to learn by following her lead. The Lord will use her to build bonds among administrators, teachers, and students as a reflection of the body of Christ.”

“It’s a blessing and honor to belong to the Legacy Christian Academy family,” says Mrs. Record. “Knowing that I’m joining a body of believers who love God as I do and who have been called to fulfill an inspiring mission is an answered prayer for me and my family. I’m excited to unite in faith and passion with the staff and families of the Middle School to actualize this mission.”

Eighth-grade history teacher Leslie Bales was a member of the selection committee. “Mrs. Record was a standout during the interview process for several reasons,” she says. “First, she has a strong desire to be an impact player through her service as an educator. Second, building relationships with students, parents, and staff is clearly essential to her leadership. Finally, she realizes the importance of all stakeholders to stay focused on the mission and goals. We’re looking forward to the Lord using her unique leadership gifts as we work together to raise up godly sons and daughters for the Kingdom.”

Says Kevin Mosley, Legacy’s Head of School, “After many months of prayer and multiple interviews, God has blessed LCA with a seasoned educator in Danielle Record. I’ve come to appreciate her heart for learning, her passion for students, and her deep convictions of faith in Jesus. She and her husband, Courtney, are excited to join the LCA community and I’m grateful to the Lord for His provision. Mrs. Record will be a strong and inspirational leader for our teachers, students, and families. We’re blessed to have her join our team.”
