Legacy Athletics is excited to announce the new head coach for Lady Eagles Softball- Amy Coe. Amy was part of the 2022 TAPPS D2 State Softball Championship team as the pitching and catching coach. The Coe family has been part of the LCA Community for 6 years and has lived in the Plano/Frisco area for over 20 years. Amy and her husband Bret have one son Drew (’28). 

Amy received her Bachelor’s in Speech Language Pathology & Audiology from Butler University where she played softball for the Bulldogs. She migrated to Texas and completed her Master’s in Communication Sciences and Disorders at Baylor University.

She has spent 15+ years in the Healthcare industry as an executive, leading and owning outpatient and pediatric rehabilitation clinics. For the past 6 years she has worked as an entrepreneur and owned various businesses.

She loves helping young athletes discover the talents God has wired them with to further His kingdom. Amy’s main goal as a coach is to ensure each athlete has a personal relationship with Jesus. She has a heart for her players and strives to help them achieve their goals on and off the field.

The girls will never forget the amazing support and love shown by their peers. I am honored to take on this role, and I can’t wait to see what this season brings and what God has planned for this team.”
