Varsity Football – Offensive Coordinator
We are pleased to welcome Shea Smith as our new Offensive Coordinator. He is the son of Varsity Head Coach, Scott Smith. Shea graduated from Odessa Permian in 2005, where he was the quarterback.

Shea has made multiple stops before finding his home here at Legacy. In 2009 he served as a Graduate Assistant at the Air Force Academy. During 2012 and 2013 he was an Adjunct Coach at Airline High School in Bossier City, LA. During his tenure there, the team advanced to the playoffs twice. From 2014 to 2015 Shea was the Assistant Coach at Mount Vernon High School in Mount Vernon, Texas. Then in 2016, he moved to Lorena, Texas where he became the Assistant Coach at Lorena High School and coached them to a District Championship that year.
Shea has been married for eight years to his wife Lindsay Smith, a 2009 graduate of Baylor. Shea and Lindsay are the proud parents to four-year-old Joel Hyeon Smith.
