Marvin Nash

Varsity Football – Assistant Coach/ DE Coach

We are pleased to welcome Marvin Nash into his first year here at Legacy. This will be Marvin’s fourteenth year of coaching high school football. Marvin was a stand-out safety and linebacker at Austin College in Sherman, TX. As a coach, he has coached nearly every position, from Quarterback to Defensive Line. Here at Legacy Marvin is serving as Varsity’s Assistant coach and Defensive End Coach.

Marvin has coached in public schools his entire career, at Wakeland High School, Denton Guyer High School and as an Offensive Coordinator at Crosby High School. He has also served as Director of College and Career Readiness and Athletic Recruiting Coordinator, helping student-athletes earn the opportunity to play their sport at the next level.

He is happily married to his wife, Schavaun, of 15 years. The couple are blessed with three beautiful kids, Reagan (14), Damon (12) and Trey (7).  The family shares a love for Jesus Christ and a strong belief that it is important to have a servant heart.  Do more for others than you do for yourself.

 

Rich Zdrojewski

Varsity Football – Assistant Coach/ DT Coach

We are pleased to have Rich Zdrojewski serving in his 2nd season here at Legacy. Rich is a graduate of St. Joseph High School in Cleveland, Ohio where he was an outstanding football player. They made the playoffs both his junior and senior season. Rich's senior season he was 1st Team All State. After graduating high school Rich continued his football career at Kent State University where he received a scholarship to play. After being at Kent State for two years Rich transferred to Case Western Reserve (CWRU) continuing to play football. While playing at Case Western he was 3-time all conference and  Defensive MVP of 2 different conferences during his senior year. Additionally, he is a member of the CWRU Hall of Fame.

Rich has worked in IT for nearly 20 years before he became a teacher and a coach. Prior to joining Legacy he was at Grace Classical in Prosper where he helped start a football program. While at Grace he also coached basketball, track, and volleyball.
Rich has been married to his wife Colleen for 21 years and together they have two daughters, Kaitlyn who is a senior at Celina High School and Taylor who is a freshman also at Celina.
