“Mckenna Godsey is an outstanding choice for the 2021 USA Volleyball Junior Female Athlete of the Year Award! Champions aren't made in the gyms. Champions are made from something they have deep inside of them…a desire, a dream, a vision! Mckenna is a fierce competitor that has honed her craft, is passionate about the game of volleyball, and excels on both the court and in the classroom. Mckenna has that “something” deep inside!”

She also recently received the Academic Electives Classroom Leadership Award presented by the Professional Schools Program.

“On a pure, universal scale of leadership, I would rate Mckenna a 9 out of 10. Check back in a decade, and she will be a 10 out of 10. I have rarely met her equal. She is strong, a trait often suppressed in females in school settings, but she is learning to wield that leadership with a light and graceful touch”
Mrs. Paige Drygas, LCA Upper School Faculty

Mckenna was recruited by schools from the SEC, Big 12, and WAC but has decided to attend Baylor University this fall where she received an academic scholarship. Please join us in congratulating Mckenna Godsey for receiving this incredible honor.
