Junior High Football – Head Coach

We are pleased to welcome the return of Coach Mike Hall to Legacy. Mike Hall served as Legacy's Head Football Coach from 2008-2011 before leaving to go to Tyler All Saints. Mike was a Head Coach for an outstanding 28 years, giving him a record of 184 wins and 124 losses. In Mike's impressive coaching career his teams reached the playoffs 17 times, won one State Championship, four state runner-ups, and five semi-final appearances. Mike started the football programs for Second Baptist and Prestonwood Christian. While coaching at Legacy Mike had a record of 28 wins and 10 losses over three seasons. In 2008 he coached the Eagles to a District Championship and State Runner-Up. He was also named Coach of the Year in TAPPS that year. In 2009 he brought Legacy back to a State Championship but came up short. That year Mike was Texas Association Sports Officials-Football Coach of the Year. After coaching at All Saints from 2012-2016, he moved to St. Joseph High School in Victoria, TX. While there he was the Athletic Director and Head Coach.

This year Coach Hall has returned to Legacy taking over the junior high football program. He is serving as the head coach for both junior high teams and also teaches 5th Grade science here at Legacy.

Mike has been married to his wife Raylene for 32 years. Together they have two daughters Kristi and Tiffani who now both teach in Carrollton. Mike and Raylene are proud grandparents of seven-year-old Tristan and four-year-old Sadie.

 

Monty Page

Junior High Football – Assistant Coach

We are excited to welcome Monty Page to the Football Program here at Legacy. This is Monty's first year coaching football. Monty is on the junior high coaching staff but also helps out with varsity football as well. In the 2017-18 school year, Monty coached junior high soccer during its inaugural season.

Monty has four kids who have all attended Legacy. Annie and Noah are his two oldest kids who graduated in 2016. His son Amish is 19 years old and his youngest is Olivia who is 13 years old.


Monty's favorite verse is Philippians 1:21 “To live is Christ, to die is gain.”
