We are eager to announce that Kristi Smalley will be joining the Lower School teachers for the 2016-2017 school year, where she will be teaching 3rd grade.
Kristi has her B.S. in Psychology from Liberty University and her M.A. in Counseling from Amberton University. Before joining the Legacy team, she worked for 15 years in the counseling industry, and 6 years in the school environment. This will be her 7th year working in education. “I have worked in both the private and the public school setting, and I am excited to be returning to a Christian school environment,” shares Kristi.
Kristi's 3 greatest joys are her children, Preston, Parker and Olivia. She enjoys spending her time outside of teaching, attending Bible studies, reading, thrifting and traveling. Speaking of traveling, Kristi has traveled to New Zealand where she had the privilege of living there for 3 months doing ministry. Kristi loves to read. In fact, she reads about a book per week, so if you are looking for your next page turner, contact Kristi!
