Mr. and Mrs. Camp have two sons here at LCA, Bobby who is in 9th grade, and Charlie who is in 6th grade. Mrs. Camp is a Room Mom as well as a PTF Board member/Secretary. Their son Bobby plays for our Junior Varsity Football team and is a part of the Track team as well as the Shooting team.

Why did you choose Legacy? We wanted a faith based curriculum with challenging academics for our sons. At Legacy, you get the best of both worlds.

Was there anything specific about Legacy that influenced your decision? We knew immediately after we toured the school that God wanted our family there. We felt a huge sense of peace that we were supposed to be at Legacy.

What advice would you give families who are considering LCA? Pray for God to lead you exactly where your family needs to be. He is always faithful!

If you could go back in time and give yourself advice about enrolling at LCA, what would you say? God’s timing is always perfect. A spot opened up for a younger son one month before school started. So be patient and pray! Charlie had the best year with Mrs. Atkins in 1st grade.

How has LCA helped your children thrive?  I can’t be more grateful for all the teachers and staff that have helped our boys thrive at LCA. Bobby and Charlie have grown so much in their faith and in their academics. We love how the football coaches have poured so much Christian character and integrity to show what men of God look like to our sons. To be honest, Legacy has helped our entire family grow in our faith. From the Bible studies, Pep Talks, and Eagle Momma Luncheons, there are so many opportunities to learn and grow for parents.

How has Legacy lived up to your expectations? LCA has been the biggest blessing to our family. The sense of community of all the LCA families has made the biggest impact. The staff and teachers have the biggest servant hearts and genuinely love our children. You can see and feel the difference at Legacy.
