Last week, Communications Interns, junior Daisy Dibley and senior Kristin Guzak, introduced students and faculty to Legacy's newest addition, an alpaca…or so they thought! After an exhaustive campus tour and many awed faces, Mr. Messer clarified the situation.

And so it is that on February 8, 2017, Legacy will officially dedicate the Legacy Performing Arts Center, aka the LPAC. This state of the art addition will seat nearly 600 guests and feature a multitude of fine art facilities, including the high school band and choir suites, private rehearsal studios, as well as a black box theater and set design and production spaces. The fully equipped auditorium will play host to a flying Peter Pan later this spring!

To commemorate the opening, Legacy has secured a series of speakers for their weekly student chapels. Tommy Nelson, pastor of Denton Bible Church, will challenge students to be counter cultural. Joe White, President of Kanakuk Kamps, will follow on February 15.
