Legacy Christian Academy senior Chase Collins eclipsed scoring 1,500 points in his career at Legacy on February 3 versus Coram Deo. He first joined the team at Legacy his sophomore year and he has proven to be a valuable asset both on and off the court. Collins has been on a scoring frenzy this year, averaging better than 26 point per game. Less than two months ago on December 9, 2022 he surpassed the 1,000 point mark. During his junior season he earned First Team All-District and Honorable All-State honors.

“Chase’s ability to score the ball is rare. His leadership, energy, and passion for the game have helped lead our team to its current level of success and we’re eager to see where else it can lead!”  says Head Coach Cole Johnson. When asked about scoring 1,500 points,

Chase said “It is definitely an honor, but I really want to help the team any way I can. I am fortunate to have great teammates and am excited to see what we can do in playoffs.”

Chase has set his sights on playing college basketball next year. Given his skill set, passion, and natural ability to “Chase the Bucket” he is well-equipped to advance his career.
