Eagle Nation,

What a fast summer! I trust your summer was good and you found some time to rest and relax. Nearly 80 days ago, I asked our LCA families to pray for our athletes, coaches, programs, and school. Thank you for your prayerful support. Often, it is easier to see how God answers our prayers by looking into the rearview mirror. Please continue to pray for the safety, growth, and development of our Athletic Programs.

With the first day of school rapidly approaching, things have fallen (and are still falling) into place beautifully. With so much to share, and the feeling of so little time to do it, I must remind myself that it is a process! Part of that process is the onboarding and introduction of new coaches. In the upcoming weeks, we will highlight different sports and coaches. Please take a moment to browse through these coaches and greet them!

Rob Armstrong; Boys Soccer

Legacy is pleased to present Rob Armstrong as the new head coach of boys soccer. Coach Armstrong arrives at Legacy with vast experience in Christian education and coaching. With 20+ years of experience on the soccer field, LCA is excited to have him lead boys soccer. Coach Armstrong's soccer experience has grown through his love of the game as both a player at George Fox University, then through coaching at schools such as Trinity Christian Academy and the Brook Hill School in Tyler.

Humble and eager to grow, and incredibly coachable, Coach Armstrong models that which we hope all LCA Athletes develop. We are delighted he is here!

Tom Pritzkau; Girls Soccer

Tom joins the LCA coaching staff as the second head soccer coach in the program's short but successful history. He has over 20 years of experience in the game, through playing then coaching various levels and players of various ages, including building teams from the ground zero. He first entered the coaching profession when he chose to coach his sister. Since then, his love, passion, and desire to pour into others through soccer has been insatiable, coaching the beautiful game in a manner rare to DFW. He strives to coach possession soccer along with determination, focus, character, heart, and toughness.

Tom thoroughly enjoys the challenge of developing others and teaching them how to be great teammates and achieve their highest potential as players and teammates.

Eagle Athletics is excited to have him onboard!
