On Saturday, ten students from the Legacy Swim Team competed at the TAPPS State Meet in San Antonio.

Thanks to coach, Jonathan Brandt, and faculty advisor, Bill Dorsey, the team's results were quite impressive! We are proud of our students and their hard work every morning of this season!

The Girl's 200 Yard Medley Relay Team, comprised of Emily Bordman, Natasha Arevalo, Layne Pyle, and Mckenna Watson, placed 9th. Nicole Napier ranked 13th in the 200 Yard Freestyle and 12th in the 100 Yard Butterfly. Maxwell Napier came in 7th for his 100 Yard Butterfly and 8th for his 500 Yard Butterfly. Lanye Pyle's 200 Yard IM earned her 6th in the state, and her 100 Yard Freestyle ranked 8th. Natasha Arevalo finished 8th in both her 100 Yard Backstroke and Breaststroke.

Junior, Emily Bordman, said she was “very proud of the team's accomplishments and loved being a part of Legacy's swim team!”
