Legacy Christian Academy is excited to welcome Lisa Embry back for the 2022-2023 school year. Lisa will be supporting the Lower School and Early Learning Campus in curriculum development and instructional practices through coaching and supporting teachers.
Lisa is no stranger to LCA. She was a beloved teacher here for ten years in both the second and fourth grades. Mrs. Embry is a prayer warrior for all and previously led the faculty prayer ministry. Fellow colleagues at Legacy have described Lisa as an “angel on Earth.” We are blessed to have her return to LCA after she spent a few years working in the Frisco and Prosper school districts. Though she initially served as a teacher, she then shifted her focus to literacy, curriculum, and instructional planning.

“I am beyond blessed by the opportunity to return to Legacy Christian Academy,” Lisa said. “It will be an honor to partner with the staff to serve the children and their families. It is my greatest desire to build upon the foundation rooted in LCA and equip the students to stand on God’s truth as they progress into the future. I am excited to experience God moving in the lives at Legacy and look forward to His plan as we joyfully work to grow the Kingdom.”

Lisa and her husband Andrew have been married for 28 years. They have two children; Natalie (`19), who is a junior in college studying fashion merchandising, and Luke (`22), who is graduating in just a few short weeks. Natalie and Luke attended Legacy since the age of 3. The Embry family is actively involved and serves at Prestonwood Baptist which has been their church home for 18 years.
