Coach Tomeny has served in several areas while at Legacy Christian Academy since it opened in 1999. In the early days of LCA she taught Physical Education and pioneered the female sports programs. She left Legacy to care for her family for a short time in 2003 and returned to LCA in 2005. When she returned to Legacy she coached and served as a kindergarten aide. In years past she coached both volleyball, basketball, and cheer at the middle school and high school levels. Kari also coached softball at the high school level. Her two sons, TJ and Patrick, also attended Legacy; Patrick graduated in 2012.

I am overjoyed and beyond blessed to be given the opportunity to serve the Legacy Community in a new capacity for the 2017-2018 school year. I consider it an honor to be more involved with our coaches, student athletes and families here at Legacy. I am extremely grateful to be part of a team whose hearts are to work passionately and diligently towards fulfilling the mission that God has set before this wonderful School.”
-Kari Tomeny, Assistant Athletic Director

In addition to overseeing girls sports, Kari will serve as fleet manager for all our buses and continue to provide administrative support for athletics as she has for the last five years. Kari is beyond excited for this new opportunity to serve the Legacy Community in a new capacity.

Coach McCollum is entering his 10th year at Legacy, having served as IT Project manager, Middle School Athletic Coordinator, Middle School head football coach, Varsity football assistant coach, middle school head basketball coach and varsity assistant baseball coach. Legacy is a family affair for the McCollum's, as wife Tiffany, serves as Early Education principal, oldest son Connor just graduated from Legacy, and youngest son Preston is in 8th grade.

Legacy has afforded me the opportunity to do what I truly love and I get to share it all with my family. I Love Legacy with all my heart and look forward to serving for many years to come.”
-Scot McCollum, Assistant Athletic Director

Alongside oversight of boys sports, Scot will continue to provide IT support in various capacities, as well continue to coach varsity and JV baseball and football at the middle and high school levels.
