We are pleased to announce that Walt Baxley is joining the Legacy family as our new Director of Campus Security. In an ongoing effort to provide a safe environment for our students, we are excited to add his presence on campus each and every day. Walt is a Marine veteran who comes to us with over 20 years of professional security experience. Throughout his career, he has initiated the development and implementation of various seminars and training programs for businesses, churches and schools. His credentials are comprehensive, including being a Commissioned Texas Security Officer and a Licensed Executive Protection Officer.

Walt will have a noticeable presence on our campus on a daily basis. Additionally, he will be present at major school events, including home varsity football games. He will spearhead the establishment and maintenance of a school safety program and will serve on the Security Task Force.

Walt has been married to his wife, Lisa, for 35 years. Together they have one son and two grandchildren. In his spare time, he enjoys restoring classic cars with his son. Fortified with a true servant's heart, he loves working with a diverse group of people and feels most rewarded in that his job enables him to make the workplace safer.
