Legacy Christian Academy

Faith Requirements

Legacy Christian Academy is a non-denominational evangelical school where faith is foundational to who we are. We believe that spiritual formation is essential to a student’s development, and we partner with families who share this commitment.

As such, we require that at least one parent has a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and affirms our Statement of Faith. It is important that all families understand and agree with the Biblical principles upon which our school is built.

Explore our faith-based foundation and consider your family’s alignment with the following core beliefs:

The Bible is the inspired, inerrant, and authoritative Word of God—without error in the original writing. It is the final authority for Christian faith and life.
Scripture References: II Timothy 3:16; Psalms 119:105, 160; 12:6; II Peter 1:16, 20–21; Proverbs 30:5

God is one—Creator of all things, infinitely perfect, and eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Scripture References: Genesis 1:1, 26–27; Psalms 90:2; Matthew 28:19; I Peter 1:2; II Corinthians 13:14

Jesus Christ is the Son of God, born of the Virgin Mary, who lived a sinless life and died as a substitutionary sacrifice for our sins. He rose bodily from the grave, ascended into heaven, and offers salvation through faith alone.
Scripture References: Matthew 1:22–23; Hebrews 4:14–15; Acts 1:9–11; Isaiah 9:6; I Corinthians 15:3–4; John 1:1–5; Romans 1:3–4

The Holy Spirit is co-equal with the Father and the Son. He indwells believers from the moment of salvation, guiding, empowering, and equipping them for godly living.
Scripture References: II Corinthians 3:17; Acts 1:8; Ephesians 1:13; John 14:16–17; I Corinthians 2:12; Galatians 5:25

The Universal Church includes all true believers from the day of Pentecost until the Rapture, regardless of denominational affiliation.
Scripture Reference: Ephesians 4:4–6
