Frequently Asked Questions
Complimentary valet is available at the Lower School west entrance that faces Legacy Dr. If you’d prefer to self-park, you may park in any open space on campus (even spaces marked reserved are open to Grandparents). Golf cart shuttles are available to pick grandparents up from any location on campus.
Students are allowed to wear spirit wear.
If you have accessibility needs that were not submitted through the registration form, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
We will distribute food at the beginning of the program. If you ordered a meal through Sage Dining there will be parent volunteers stationed at the food tables to assist you. If you brought your own lunch, you may find a comfortable spot on the football field at your grandchild’s designated grade section to enjoy your picnic.
Finding Your Grandchild
Students will be grouped with their classroom teacher and large signs will direct you to each grade. If you have multiple grandchildren, your oldest grandchild will be with your youngest grandchild’s class. Please learn the name and grade for your youngest grandchild in order to find them quickly. If you need help, volunteers will be circulating with class lists to point you in the right direction.
Student Check-out Procedures
You are welcome to check out your grandchild after the picnic. Please inform your student’s teacher that you are checking them out. Students should have their items with them so they are able to leave directly after the picnic without accessing the building.
Can we see our Student’s Classroom?
Unfortunately, due to COVID restrictions we are unable to allow guests in the facilities at this time.
Restrooms will be open at the field house for public use.
What to Bring
You may bring any items you’d like that will make your picnic experience enjoyable! We encourage you to bring folding chairs and blankets. If you ordered lunch through Sage Dining, your meal will be provided. Please feel free to bring additional snacks and drinks if you desire (we are a nut-free campus, so please be mindful of potential food allergies). Please note that anything that can puncture the field is prohibited such as tents, umbrellas, or anything with stakes.
Where to Sit
Grade-level seating will be marked on the field. You may sit anywhere you’d like in the section of your youngest grandchild’s class. If you have accessibility needs and you have made us aware through the registration process, we’ve reserved seating for you and your family. Your reserved seating can be found near your youngest grandchild’s class. Please look for signs designating each grade level on the field. If you need to share accessibility needs, please contact email@example.com.
Reserved seating is designated for those with accessibility needs that requested special seating in the registration process.
There will be a short program by our Head of School and Lower School students.
Registration has closed. If you’d like to check availability, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
