Michelle with her family.My Family

I am married to my husband, Mark, for almost 29 years and have four children.
My oldest son, Matthew, has traveled all over the world with YWAM and plans to teach English as a second language. My son Michael is in the US Air Force and married to my wonderful daughter-in-law, Morgan. My daughter, Miracle, is a student at SAGU in Waxahachie and studying Worship Leadership and my daughter, Makenna, is going into 5th grade as a new student here at Legacy. She loves art and music! We also have a golden retriever name Riley!

I have served in ministry alongside my husband, Mark, over the last 29 years and have had the opportunity to work in many different facets of ministry including music, worship, children and youth. I have a Master's in Education with specialization in Early Childhood Education. I have been the music teacher for Ovilla Christian School for the last 4 years and taught grades K4-12.

Our family is so excited to be a part of the Legacy Family. We have loved getting to know the incredible staff and students and are so thankful that God has led us to the Frisco area and to LCA.

What do you love most about teaching, coaching, or working at LCA?

I love all the amazing people I get to work with. They have a genuine love for the Lord and their students and are willing to do all they can to help their students succeed.
I have also been so blessed to work with amazing students who love the Lord and care about their fellow students.

What are you passionate about? What brings you joy?

I am passionate about helping students find joy in music and in worshipping Jesus! What a privilege we have to praise our creator with our voices, our instruments, and our entire being! “Let everything that has breath Praise the Lord!” Psalm 150:6
