Nick Rhodes | Computer Science
Hello there! My name is Nick Rhodes. I was born and raised in Prosper, TX, and completed both of my college degrees out of state at the University of Arkansas and the University of Oklahoma. It was during my time in Arkansas that God used two of my closest friends to pursue me and draw me into my faith in Jesus Christ! After working with the Cru (Campus Crusade for Christ) high school ministry for one year after graduate school, I joined the wonderful LCA team here as the Lower School music teacher. I am preparing to take on a new role as the Lower School computer science teacher for the 2023-2024 school year. I am also the Director of Music for Metrocrest Presbyterian Church in Carrollton, TX. I am married to my beautiful wife Raquel, and we now have the sweetest baby boy in the world named Christian who was born in December 2022. We love being a part of the LCA community!
I am so excited to be the Lower School computer science teacher for this next year! Not only do I love technology, but I love learning about technology, and my heart is to see these kiddos responsibly utilize a very useful tool that God has provided to us in this specific day and age. We are to be good stewards of all things God has provided; even computers! As we create in our classroom, I pray that these kids will see at least a tiny glimpse of how great our Creator really is in how fearfully and wonderfully He made us.

Victor Rodriguez | Fourth Grade Spanish Immersion
Hi! My name is Victor Rodriguez Santiago and I am so excited to be teaching 4th Grade Spanish Immersion this year at LCA! This will be my second year at LCA and I am making the move from teaching Computer Science to teaching Spanish Immersion. I was born and raised in Puerto Rico and moved to Texas in 2014. I am married to Enid and I am the proud dad of two joyful children-Sebastian and Aleynid, who both attend LCA. We have been active members of Stonebriar Community Church (Stonebriar en Español) for the past nine years where we serve in different capacities. When not at work, I enjoy time with my family, trying new restaurants for breakfast, going to church, traveling, and listening to worship music.
I have been teaching bilingual education for the past thirteen years and I am an educator who is passionate about teaching second-language learners. I earned a Juris Doctor’s degree from the Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico, and I have a Bachelor’s in Natural Sciences with a minor in Mathematics from the University of Puerto Rico. I am currently certified to teach Bilingual and ESL education (EC-6) in the state of TX. I am also certified to teach Spanish at the secondary level (LOTE-Spanish EC-12). I am most excited about giving my students the gift of a second language and seeing how they use this gift to make an eternal impact!

Beth Yeager | Second Grade Teacher
My name is Elizabeth Yeager, I typically go by Beth. My husband and I moved to Texas eight years ago from Indiana. My husband, Matt, was born and raised in southern Indiana. I lived there for about 10 years. My dad was in the military, so I have lived all over. I spent much of my childhood growing up on or near military bases, even living in Germany in the late 1980s. My husband and I met our senior year of high school, and have been blessed to be together ever since. This past December, we celebrated 15 years of marriage. We have a five-year-old daughter named Madelyn, who will be starting in kindergarten at LCA this year, and a three-year-old son named David who will be in the Pre-K-3 class at LCA as well. We are very active in our church, Frisco Bible Church, and have faithfully attended since becoming members after moving to Frisco. My husband is a lead guitarist in the worship band, and I serve as a Cubbies leader in Awana, as well as a Sunday school teacher and in women’s ministry. We’re so blessed by and thankful for our amazing church family.
Along with celebrating 15 years of marriage to my husband this year, I’ve also been blessed to celebrate 15 years of teaching. I graduated with my BS in Elementary Education from the University of Southern Indiana in May 2007. My first 6 years of teaching were in a small private Christian school. There I taught both elementary and middle school classes. I loved my time at my school, but unfortunately, I had to leave due to the school closing. A year or so later in 2015, my husband was transferred to Texas. Upon moving to Texas, I had hoped to be able to teach in a Christian school, but there were no openings at that time, so I accepted a teaching position in Frisco ISD. For the past eight years I have been at that same school in the district. For the past couple of years, though, I have felt it heavily on my heart through the leading of the Holy Spirit to go back into Christian education. With my children coming up through school and wanting to have the freedom to be able to pray in the classroom and share about Christ and His Word openly, I knew I would need to take a step on faith and apply again. Thankfully, the Lord opened all of the doors, and I am able to teach second grade starting this year at LCA.
I’m so excited for this opportunity to serve the Lord at LCA and to be able to teach the truth of His Word, and His plan of salvation, and to be able to disciple those who have already trusted Christ. I’m also very excited to once again be able to teach from a biblical perspective, a biblical worldview. Instilling a biblical worldview into our children so that they have that foundation from the time they are young is so vital, and I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to teach again in a school that promotes that. I’m so thankful that my husband and I had that biblical worldview, and that we are able to give that to our children through our church, what we teach in the home from the Bible, and in the education they will receive at LCA.

Alex Robison | Middle School LLC Learning Specialist
I am incredibly excited to be a part of the legacy team this upcoming school year! I attended Legacy from 3rd-12th grade before moving to Waco to pursue a degree in Special Education at Baylor University. I graduated from Baylor in May of 2021, and moved back near my hometown to work as a science inclusion teacher at Coppell Middle School North. During my time in Coppell, I also had the opportunity to coach 7th grade volleyball, basketball, and long distance track. The Lord was pulling on my heart to come back home to Legacy, and I could not be more excited! I currently attend Watermark Community Church where I serve on the frontlines team as a greeter, as well as am involved in a weekly community group. I enjoy being involved in all things Watermark offers. I also enjoy spending time at my ranch riding horses, playing volleyball, and spending time with my family and friends.
I am beyond excited to join the Legacy team and get the opportunity to teach my students about how incredible our Lord is. Legacy feels like home to me. The intentional community and support that I received from Legacy as a student, makes me excited to serve my future students in the same way. I already feel loved and welcomed by my team- let the countdown begin!

Jordan Koskamp | Ancient World History & Theology
I am a Midwest kid born and raised in the great State of Iowa. I am the oldest of three, having two younger sisters. My parents now live in the Twin Cities in Minnesota. Despite the cold, my family enjoys gathering together there for Christmas. I’m a sports guy. For the last 15 years, I have been involved in the lives of student-athletes through both coaching and officiating High School and collegiate athletics. I coach boys basketball and officiate High School and College softball. I will be new to the Frisco area and I cannot wait to find a Bible-believing Church to attend. I am passionate about exegetical preaching and people who passionately follow Jesus. I love my students! As much as I enjoy teaching the Word of God, watching my students love Jesus more and more is why I do what I do. Life is all about the relationships we form with God and others. My students keep me young and always remind me of why I am so passionate about what I get to do every day – help further the Kingdom of God!
Leslie Luce | Communication Arts
I am so excited to be part of Legacy and growing the Mock Trial and Yearbook programs! This is my 17th year of teaching and there are few things I love more than students becoming lovers of learning. I went to Texas A&M University, and graduated from UTD, but will always be an Aggie at heart. Part of my heart walks around with my children. My daughter Mackenzie is a practicing attorney close by in the Ft. Worth area. My son Jagger, who has an entrepreneur's heart, is running his businesses and working in the world of AI/Digital Marketing here in the Dallas area as well. Jagger is married to my sweet daughter-in-love, also named McKenzie. We affectionately call this our Kenzie sandwich. Being their mom is one of my great joys! When I am not teaching, I love running, hiking, really doing anything outdoors, as well as hanging out and serving with friends. I am involved at Watermark Community church doing life with my community girls and serving through Community Formation Leadership helping connect people to be fully known and loved in and amongst the community! I am so grateful to be here at Legacy!
