PEP Talks

We focus on the kids. We spend so much time and energy making sure we’re being the parents we need to be, and that’s all good.
But do we take time to work on our marriages? Because doesn’t good parenting start with a good, godly marriage?
Come to our next PEP Talk to hear Legacy-favorite Tommy Nelson, Pastor of Denton Bible Church, present his highly engaging presentation, “The Four Gears of Marriage.” This practical talk will combine Tommy’s common-sense ideas laced with humor and stories to give us tools we can immediately apply.
Let’s start 2023 with a fresh resolve to be intentional about making our marriages the best they can be!
Single parents: You are welcome too! It’s never too early to be proactive as you prepare for the future God may have for you!

Dr. Rob Rienow – First Things First, Making Christ a Priority in Your Home
We were so THRILLED to have Rob Rienow of Visionary Family Ministries speak to our parents and guests at our October 22nd PEP Talk! Rob is a highly sought-after speaker based out of Chicago who has agreed to join us and share some of his parenting wisdom. In addition to presenting at his public speaking engagements, Rob also serves as a pastor at Gospel Fellowship Church in Wheaton, IL. He is the author of the books God’s Grand Vision for the Home (Awana), Visionary Parenting, Reclaiming the Sufficiency of Scripture, Limited Church: Unlimited Kingdom (Randall House) and Never Too Late: Drawing Your Adult Child Back to Christ (Kregel). He and his wife Amy also wrote Visionary Marriage and Five Reasons For Spiritual Apathy In Teens (Randall House). The Rienow family lives in West Chicago, IL with their seven (yes seven!) children, so he is no stranger to parenting. Check Rob out at https://visionaryfam.com/ . Rob brought his message, “First Things First, Making Christ a Priority in Your Home.” We often get so wrapped up in activities and worldly endeavors with our kids that we don’t make time for what matters most. God has entrusted you with children for a reason! The biblical purpose of parenting is to do all in our power to impress the hearts of our children with a love for God. The souls of our children are our most important Great Commission calling. Have you found yourself unintentionally drifting from that calling? Rob Rienow will help you capture a new vision for your family!
