My Family

My name is Janine Boese and I am the Marketing Coordinator at LCA. I was born and raised in Southern California and moved to Texas 10 years ago and I'm so happy I did- I love Texas! My husband Christian and I have been married for 3 years and have two dogs- Khalessi a Staffordshire Bull Terrier and Dakota a German Shepherd mix.

My husband and I love to go hiking and travel. Together we've been to Colorado, Nashville, Boston, Mexico, Rome, Paris, and London, and next on our bucket list is Germany!

Why do you choose to work at Legacy?

I chose to work at LCA because I knew I would be making a difference in my work. When I first started in my role, I immediately saw how each teacher loves each student in their class and it continues to impress me how incredible this school is. Also, I'm surrounded by other Christians with the same values as me. God truly went above and beyond what I had asked Him for when I was in search of a job a year ago. I feel like I'm right where I belong here at LCA.

What is your favorite scripture? Why?

My favorite scripture is Isaiah 43:2 “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through the fire you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you.”

I love this scripture as a reminder that God is always with you in the good times and especially when times get hard. He will never leave you.
