My Family

I grew up in Frisco, TX. I graduated from Dallas Baptist University December of 2020. While at DBU, I was on the Patriettes Dance Team and a part of the Patriot Swing Dance club. After graduating, I met my husband, Evan Beck. We have been married just over a year and live in Celina, TX with our goldendoodle, Charlie. When not teaching, I love dancing, playing with Charlie, or getting together with family and friends to hangout, play games, or watch movies together.

Why do you choose to work at Legacy?

I chose to work at Legacy after seeing the lasting impact that this school has made on my family members. My husband, Evan, has lasting, Christ-centered relationships with many faculty members and peers. I have seen how my mother-in-law, Sheryl Beck, is impacted by her teammates, students, and staff members who pray for her, encourage her, and how she is encouraged by them. I desire to work at a school where Christ is the foundation of the relationships between staff, students, and parents.

What hobbies do you have? Or what is a fun fact?

A fun fact is that I love swing/country/ballroom dancing! I started swing dancing in high school and caught “Swing Fever” the first time I went out. At DBU, a group of friends and I started up our own club to learn more about swing dance and go out dancing together. After graduating, I took ballroom lessons for about two years and even got to compete in the rhythm dances of Cha-Cha, Rumba, Swing, Mambo, and Bolero.
