My Family

I am a proud native Texan!! My husband, Brian, and I have been married for 22 years. We have one child, Bethany, who has attended LCA since she was in 1st grade. We are animal lovers and have 2 dogs, 3 cats and 2 African dwarf frogs. I love watching Bethany play soccer and watching College Football (Hook 'Em Horns, Geaux Tigers)! We love traveling as a family, the beach is our “happy place”!! Spending time with friends and family is our favorite activity!!

What do you love most about teaching, coaching, or working at LCA?

My absolute FAVORITE part of working at LCA is greeting everyone who walks into the lobby!! The smiling faces from the parents/family arriving to have lunch with their child or to enjoy a performance, brightens my day!! I equally LOVE seeing the students walking down the hallways or coming to the office to pick up an item! Their sweet waves and quick hugs are AMAZING!!

What is your favorite scripture? Why?

My favorite scripture is Philippians 4:6, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.”
I tend to be an overthinker and this scripture reminds me that God is with me each and every moment encouraging me to be confident.
