My Family

I grew up in Plano and currently live in Frisco. I am married to my high school sweetheart, Cory. I have a 10-year-old son named Brooks and an 8-year-old daughter named Evelyn. My husband and I both graduated from Baylor, and we are big fans! I have a sweet miniature dachshund named Darcy. I love to read, travel, and spend time with my family and friends.

What's your favorite LCA memory or best teaching moment?

My favorite memory is the first time I got to be involved in the LCA Homecoming parade. It was amazing to see all of the grade levels, groups, families, and alumni come together as a school with so much school spirit. My class had so much fun, and one of my students even gifted me my own mum to wear. This is definitely an event to look forward to each year!

What is your favorite scripture? Why?

Philippians 4:6-7
Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

I love this verse because it reminds me that I can bring anything to God, big or small, and that He is always in control.”
