My Family

I grew up in Santa Cruz, California. My wife, Jennifer, and I have been married for 30 years and we have a daughter named Avery who is 25 and married to her husband, Jordan Hoppe. We have a dog named Dakota who is almost a 5 year old Black Lab. In my free time I enjoy walking my dog and fishing.

Why do you choose to work at Legacy?

I had a deep desire to be back in the Christian school environment. I have heard from my wife Jennifer, who has worked at LCA for 2 years, how amazing of a place that LCA is to work at. Our family has had some very traumatic things we've experienced the last 2 years and experiencing the love of Christ from the LCA families and staff has been a true blessing.

What hobbies do you have? Or what is a fun fact?

I enjoy walking my dog with Jennifer, riding my mountain bike, reading sports books, and bass fishing with Darren Bartholomew.
A fun fact about me is I played professional baseball in the Oakland Athletics Organization in 1990 & '91.
