My Family

I am married to my amazing wife Chris. Chris is the Senior Fine Arts Director here at LCA. We have worked together in 3 different Christian schools for 36 years. Our firstborn daughter Shelby gave us our first grandson a year ago, Lincoln Deck. Shelby and her husband Zack live in Midland. Out youngest daughter Catherine is an LCA graduate. She is finishing her first year teaching at Siloam Springs High School in Arkansas.

What is your favorite part of the school day?

Every class every day is different. I get to see my amazing kids do amazing things. I get to work with incredible colleagues. I get to do LIFE with these people, and there are no better people to do that with than here!

What are you passionate about? What brings you joy?

I love watching my kids be successful. Love watching them do well in the classroom, the court, the stage, and the field. My kids bring my JOY. My school kids bring me JOY! Working with my wife in the same schools for over 3 decades brings me JOY!
