My Family

I am originally from Midland, TX and moved to Houston where I met the love of my life, Michael Hall. Together, we raised two beautiful girls, Kristi Normand and Tiffani Hall, both teachers themselves. We were a football/sports family since my husband was a coach, and I only missed one game in 33 seasons of various sporting events, a claim to fame that I am extremely proud of!! I have two grandchildren, Tristan 11 and Sadie 9, and now attend all of their sporting events as well. I love to bake, dance, quilt, and use my creative gifts any chance I get.

Why do you choose to work at Legacy?

This is my second time around working at Legacy. My husband and I were both employed from 2008 – 2012 and as we drove onto the campus each morning, we knew this is where the Lord had placed us. It was a joy and a blessing to work alongside others who held the same Christian values and beliefs that we did, a place where people loved and supported and encouraged each other, a place that spoke God's truth and nurtured and educated the “whole” person. When my husband, Michael, became ill, in true form, LCA and its families rallied around us, and we knew we had an “army” of believers battling with us. You are never alone at Legacy.

What is your favorite scripture? Why?

Hebrews 11:1 “Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.”

Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future.”

What are you passionate about? What brings you joy?

I am most passionate about my family, but aside from that I love to write. I have journaled most of my adult life. It helps me to express my thoughts, my prayers, my experiences. I get the most absolute joy when I have time to sit and sing praises to my Lord, work through a Bible Study, and then journal, or write out my prayers.
