My Family

I graduated From Texas Tech University in 1988. I have 2 sons, Taylor('09) and Cameron('13) I've lived in Frisco for 18 years and live with my dog, Andy, a Border Collie mix. I love to camp, hike, read, and write. I love to coach people both in sports and life. I LOVE coffee. You can find me in a coffee shop writing a blog post or reading a great book. I'm expecting my first grandson in June of 2023.

What's your favorite LCA memory or best teaching moment?

When Taylor (‘09) won the state championship in tennis in his freshman and sophomore years. Also, watching my youngest, Cameron (‘13) win multiple state marching titles and play in the state final in football his senior year!

What are you passionate about? What brings you joy?

I'm passionate about teaching these students they have a voice. I love giving them permission to become themselves with no strings attached. It brings me great joy when the light bulb goes off and the get it factor has invaded their brain. So exciting to watch and be a small part of their lives!
