Engineering & Technology
The School of Engineering and Technology within the Professional Schools Program (PSP) at Legacy Christian Academy is consistent with the school’s mission to equip leaders for college and beyond. Through this unique academic structure, students have exposure to education (i.e. rigorous and diverse coursework), exploration (i.e. symposiums and guided studies), and experience (i.e. research and internships) with a concentrated focus in their field of study.
Within the School of Engineering, students take a hands-on approach to the applied sciences of Engineering or Computer Science or choose an interdisciplinary approach that exposes them to a more general course of study which includes other PSP areas and electives.

Capstone Experience
CMI Group
EJ Yohannan (`20) had the opportunity to spend time with the team at CMI Group with a focus on Computer Science. He got hands-on experience coding and had a fantastic opportunity with this team to decide if this is a career path he may want to pursue. EJ had to interview for this position and after the interview, he made the comment, “This would be the perfect experience for me. I hope I get to work there.”
Capstone
Seniors within the PSP School of Engineering and Technology have the opportunity to participate in a Capstone Project through either an internship or research project within their specific field of focus. These Capstones will be presented in a Senior Showcase before completion of the Senior year with an opportunity to reflect and celebrate all that they have learned throughout the process.
