Ronnie and Berkley Berry have been living the Legacy life since 2016 when their daughter, Riley, started Kindergarten. Once they toured the campus and witnessed the Christian foundation that the school instills in its students, they were on their way to being lifelong Eagles. Since they made the decision to attend Legacy, they have happily observed the excellent faculty and administration of Legacy pour into the life of the students, and they are happy to know that Riley will be hearing and learning things throughout her days that are in line with what she learns about at church and at home.

Our daughter is our greatest gift, and our primary goal is to place her in an environment where she can thrive spiritually, emotionally, and academically,” shared Berkley. “In our time at Legacy, we have seen growth in the school, but the characteristics that drove us to select Legacy for our daughter’s education remain. Our family has been blessed by Legacy and all it has offered through community and spiritual and academic training for our daughter, and we are honored to have the opportunity to support the school in this year’s Stronger Together Fund.”

Ronnie has participated in dad’s events, Watch DOGS, and recently, on LCA's long-term strategic planning committee. Berkley has been a room parent, a grade coordinator, and served on the PTF Board as Teacher Appreciation Co-Coordinator and Volunteer Coordinator.

Ronnie is a corporate tax practitioner, and he is currently the Vice President of Tax at Celanese, a Fortune 500 chemical and materials company, where he leads the company’s tax compliance and planning efforts. Berkley is a pediatric speech-language pathologist having practiced in public schools, The University of Texas at Dallas’s Callier Center, and most recently, in a private practice setting. They are involved in their church at Hope Fellowship and enjoy sporting events, cheering on the Mavs, Cowboys, Rangers, and the Texas Tech Red Raiders. They also enjoy coaching and cheering on Riley at her basketball and volleyball games.

Head of School Kevin Mosley said “I am so excited about Ronnie and Berkley Berry serving as our Stronger Together Fund Chairs for 2022-23. Berkley has invested as a leader on our PTF Board and Ronnie has recently served on our long-range planning steering committee. They have a demonstrated passion for the mission of LCA and have consistently supported the school with their time, talent and treasure. LCA will benefit greatly through their leadership of the Stronger Together Fund this year.”

The Berry family feels blessed and grateful for what Legacy offers Riley and their family in regard to growing in faith, community, education, safety, and service, and are thrilled to serve as this year’s Stronger Together Fund Chairs. While tuition funds day-to-day operations, the Stronger Together Fund supports facility growth and investment, indexed tuition funds for our student body, and investments in our faculty. They are excited about the future of LCA and its potential to impact a growing area in the metroplex by sending spiritual leaders into our community for years to come.
