His contacts in ministry and education along with his vision for how our students can engage the world uniquely qualify him to lead our students in this new program.”

His vast leadership experience, passion for Christian education, and strong humanities background and convictions provide the wisdom and understanding to help Legacy develop and execute our high ambitions for the Professional Schools Program. Rob will be instrumental in building the framework and organizational structure that will continue to enhance Legacy's academic and professional culture. Rob will cultivate relationships in our community, solidify symposium speakers, connect with colleges, and counsel and guide students and families in the inaugural year of our Professional Schools Program. In addition, Rob will serve as a valuable mentor for the additional deans we will be hiring over the next two years to implement Legacy's full vision.”

This new initiative at Legacy is exciting. I have served in Christian schools for more than 30 years and in that time have seen numerous attempts to connect students to their educational experience in meaningful ways. This new initiative is the strongest and most effective plan I have seen. It is truly groundbreaking in the way we look at a student's experience. I am confident it will not only provide positive results for our students at Legacy, but will ultimately expand to other Christian school communities who have been seeking an answer to the same question. This is truly a pacesetter initiative and I am blessed to join the team at such an exciting time.” – Dean of School of Humanities Rob Armstrong

Over the next 2 years Legacy will continue to interview and eventually hire additional deans who will serve our students as academic leaders for their specific Professional Schools. For the 2018-2019 school year, several Professional Schools will be combined and led by the same dean. Next year, Rob Armstrong will serve as the Dean of the School of Humanities as well as the School of Business.
